Comment This is a commercial, fishing and tourist port, located on the mainland in the northwest Pacific coast of the Mexican Republic, at the south part of the State of Sinaloa. Besides serving its own State, this port serves the states of Nayarit, Sonora and Baja California Sur. It serves an important international movement of cruise liners operating on the West coast of Mexico and USA. Important outbound exports include industrial, agricultural and fishing products, and recently cars coming from the south and central regions of the country. Commercial and Sports Fishing is also one of the most important activities in Mexico. Port activity includes oil and derivatives load activity to supply the region.
Currently, Mazatlan features traffic towards and from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Arabian Emirates, Rumania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunes, South, East and West Africa.
