Today's Valle de Bravo is the result of a dam that was built in the Avandaro area. It is approximately eighty miles west of Mexico City in a high mountainous area with temperate climate in the daytime and cool nights and receives many weekenders from Mexico City who maintain second homes in the area.
Valle de Bravo occupies one corner of the lake. Golf, horse-back riding, polo, parachute jumps and other exercise activities provide for an active visit. Gourmet quality restaurants, art galleries and folk art shops complete a visitors stay. A world-class spa resort has been developed in Avandaro. |
