Isla Mujeres
Directions Take one of the tours out of Cancun or ferry service.

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve
Directions About 60 miles south of Akumal.
Description A pristine natural preserve full of wildlife including crocodiles and boas. Natives act as local guides in their boats.

Tres Rios Nature Park
Directions Approximately 30 kms south of Cancun.
Description Nature reserve located on over 150 acres of shorefront land offering activities such as kayaking, canoeing, bicycling through the jungle, snorkeling and horseback riding.

Tulum Mayan Ruins
Directions 75 miles south of Cancun past Akumal and Xel-ha.
Description Splendid ruins of a Mayan walled city on a high bluff next to the Caribbean sea. Only major Mayan Site next to the ocean. Famous for the frescoe paintings and the "Diving God".

Xcaret Eco-archeological Park
Directions About 55 miles south of Cancun on Highway 307
Description Once part of a private ranch, Xcaret is now open to the public. Swim with the dolphins and navigate underground rivers. Plenty of wildlife to view and enjoy.
