We take very seriously the consequences that result from damage to the environment and climate change on our planet. That is why, Cabo Surf Hotel is acting and doing something that allows us to go through this life respecting to the greatest extent possible our environment, not merely as a fad or a marketing strategy, but as a real concern, where our goal is to implement better alternatives to treat and protect the natural resources through the implementation of good work practices and living.

This ecological way of thinking resides not only in our architecture or operations but also in the food and beverages at our 7Seas Restaurant.

For these reasons we have already started to implement some proposals, just to name a few:

• We have installed a solar carport for 24 guests cars with the use of 240 photovoltaic solar panels that produce up to 70 kw of green power during sun exposure.
• Plastic reduction
• Reduction and reuse of paper
• Use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
• Reduction and water reuse (through our plant treatment)
• Using LED lights
• Use minisplits and pumps with high efficiency motors
• Use of rechargeable batteries
• Use of solar panels for general hot water in rooms and Jacuzzi's
• Biodegradable straws and containers
• Use of paper bags for restaurant, spa, surf shop
• Separation and recycling of garbage
• Waste management (cooking oil)
• Glass and plastic recycling
• Purchase of local fruit, vegetables and chicken
• We do not serve overfished species of seafood
• Freshly Made (Dressings, vinaigrettes, jam, ice cream, bread, mayonnaise and pickles). Thanks to this we drastically reduce packaging waste
• Use of olive oil and avocado instead of saturated fats
• We contribute to maintain a white flag status for a high standard clean beach and oceanfront
• We aid in the conservation and preservation of turtle nests
• Support of events for local foundations. (Casa Hogar, Red Cross, Firefighters, Gente Joven and Boys and Girls Club of BCS)
